Daniel Schieferdecker

Daniel Schieferdecker is from a well-known Dresden family and retains strong links with the city of Dresden whilst working in the financial sector in the UK. A fluent German and English speaker, he brings youth to the Board of Trustees, as well as skills in social media and communications.

Andreas Schöne

Andreas Schöne is a historian, born in Leipzig, Saxony, in 1971. He studied history at Leipzig University, and now he works as the Managing Director for the Frauenkirche Fördergesellschaft, or The Society for Dresden’s Church of Our Lady.

Christian Curschmann

Christian Curschmann was born in 1976 in Rostock, North Germany. His background is as a historian, as he studied History and Art History at the Dresden University of Technology and worked at places such as the Military History Museum in Dresden, the Bautzen Memorial and the Münchner Platz Memorial. Since 2020, Christian has been the Project Coordinator of the Bürgerstiftung Dresden für den DenkRaum Sophienkirche, or the Dresden Citizens’ Foundation for the Thinking Space at the Sophien Church.

Heiko Günther

Heiko Günther has a professional background in education, he is a vocational school teacher in Dresden, and also works as a volunteer for The Society for Dresden’s Church of Our Lady, or the Frauenkirche Fördergesellschaft, and for the Pedagogical Working Group Frauenkirche Dresden, or the Pädagogischen Arbeitskreis Frauenkirche Dresden. He is additionally a co-initiator of the project "Dresden Learning Path - Interactive Learning in the Heart of Dresden".
